Job description

Position Overview

International Motor’s Information Technology Development Program (ITDP)’s objective is to recruit and hire high potential, early career associates and develop them into high performing IT Professionals through broad exposure to various experiences. The program employs on-the-job rotational assignments to cultivate key leadership and technical skills required to meet strategic International Motors objectives while engaging employees and fostering long-term talent retention.

Position Description

This one-year rotational program offers the candidates the chance to immerse in various areas of information technology to build their skills and find their passion. Two rotations, each one six months in duration will give them a unique opportunity to explore a variety of work groups, and leadership styles and build their technical acumen to help them decide which direction to take their career path. Through coaching, mentoring, and training with some of Internal Motors’ best technical and functional experts, the individuals will develop technical and domain knowledge skills that will put them on the fast track on their career of choice.

Responsibilities

Highlights

  • Two six-month rotations

  • Functional and technical tracks that cater to different knowledge backgrounds and career preferences.

  • Hands-on experience with subject matter experts and leadership

  • Specialized curriculum including development of soft skills related to communication, team-work, and problem solving etc, as well as functional and technical skills development

  • Ongoing mentoring and coaching

  • Data Engineering

  • Application development

  • Cyber security

  • Agile teams

  • Network Infrastructure

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other business/technology related disciplines and no experience

OR

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other Business/Technology related disciplines and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment

OR

  • Master’s degree in process in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other Business/Technology related disciplines

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
