We invite you to contribute your talents to our community Roosevelt University is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach CST 250 - Computer Science II. This course is a continuation of CST 150, covering problem solving using a high-level language, including abstract data types, inheritance, recursion, generics, lists, sets, maps, stacks, queues, trees and file I/O, multiple sorting and searching algorithms, and an introduction to concepts of program complexity. Extensive programming is required.
Schedule: Monday/Wednesday, 2:00 PM - 4:05 PM, Chicago Campus. This is a face-to-face course, and it is essential that the successful candidate be able to be on campus during these times.
The salary for this 4 credit hour class is $5,309.33.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Proficiency in Java programming, including object-oriented design principles (abstraction, inheritance, encapsulation, polymorphism)
- Strong understanding of data structures (lists, sets, maps, stacks, queues, trees) and their implementation
- Experience with recursion, generics, and file I/O in Java
- Knowledge of sorting and searching algorithms and basic algorithmic complexity (Big-O analysis)
- Ability to teach programming concepts effectively to undergraduate students, including in a face-to-face lab/lecture setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor students through debugging and problem-solving
