Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join their cybersecurity team. The role involves maintaining the security posture of information systems, ensuring compliance with security policies, and managing risk through robust security measures, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to oversee system security assessments and respond to potential threats.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain system security plans (SSPs)
• Perform regular risk assessments and audits
• Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures
• Oversee system vulnerability management and remediation efforts
• Ensure adherence to security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, RMF)
• Collaborate with teams to address security incidents and findings
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in security frameworks like NIST RMF or ISO 27001
