Job description

Job Summary: The Senior HRIS Specialist is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role serves as a subject matter expert in HR systems, ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and alignment with HR and organizational goals. The specialist partners with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to support HR technology initiatives and improve user experience. The Payroll/HRIS specialist will be responsible for support in managing payroll for employees.   

Duties/Responsibilities: 
   Check timesheets globally for accuracy through ADP and with other payroll providers. 
   Responsible for all payroll-related processing activities in US, Canada, and UK. 
   Assists in the preparation of year-end W-2s or other related tax filings or reports 
   Provide general administrative support including preparing reports for Finance, HR, and other departments as necessary. 
   Initiates routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting. 
   Assists benefit team with benefit enrollments in ADP. 
   Assists Finance team with payroll audits or reconciliation of payroll files. 
   Administer and maintain HRIS system. 
   Lead system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with other platforms. 
   Ensure data accuracy and integrity through audits, reporting, and troubleshooting. 
   Develop and maintain HR dashboards, metrics, and analytics to support decision-making. 
   Provide end-user support and training for HRIS tools and processes. 
   Collaborate with HR and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements. 
   Completes new hire setup in payroll systems. Maintains all payroll-related files and records. 
   Manage system security roles and permissions. 
   Document system configurations, workflows, and procedures. 
   Stay current on HR technology trends and recommend enhancements. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

   Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

   Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
   Proficient with ADP Workforce Now, ADP Teampay. 
   Proficient with pulling reports, understanding reports, and Microsoft Excel. 
   Strong knowledge of HR processes and data management. 
   Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
   Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
Education and Experience: 
   Bachelor's degree in business preferred or 4 plus years of payroll/HRIS management experience. 
   2-5 years of proven payroll experience. 
   Excellent knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and ADP Teampay. 
Physical Requirements & Work Setting:  
   Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
