Job description

Title: IT Support Technician

Employment & Location: Full Time, ONSITE @ Falls Church, VA (no Remote/Telework)

Benefits: Full-Time Employee benefit package

Shift Timing: Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM (EST)

On Call Requirement: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to provide support for urgent after-hours issues

  • Requirements:
    • 1-3 years of experience in: IT Support
    • Advanced knowledge in supporting: MS Windows, MS Office, Microsoft 365 Software, Hardware, and Information Security
    • Intermediate knowledge in supporting: Active Directory and Computer Imaging
    • Intermediate knowledge in supporting: Network Devices, Network Cabling, Ethernet, and TCP/IP
    • Organized and capable of multitasking in a fast paced, team driven environment
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to handle 24/7 on-call rotational duty
    • Ability to travel by road and air
  • Responsibilities:
    • Support 350+ corporate users both onsite and remotely for all IT related issues
    • Monitor and support 250+ store location networks consisting of routers, firewalls, switches, Windows PC’s, Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and misc. network devices
    • Monitor, triage, escalate, and resolve IT support tickets
    • Onsite setup and troubleshooting of corporate laptops and desktops
    • Onsite and remote deployment, disassembly, and troubleshooting of store networks (routers, firewalls, switches, Windows PC’s, Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and misc. network devices)
    • Field Network Cable management: Install, Run, Terminate, Splice, and Manage low voltage network cabling (Cat3, Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, etc.)
    • Coordinate with other departments and ISP's in resolving store connectivity issues
  • Desired Certifications (one or more):
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Network+

    • Cisco CCNA
    • Fortinet NSE
