Job Description

Cricut has an immediate opportunity for a Hardware QA Tester in our Hardware Quality team. You will be responsible for carrying out test plans for new & existing products based on the Product Requirements and Engineering Specifications. You should be able to drive the projects independently, and support QA concerns in meetings with cross-functional and project teams.  

Needed Skills:  

  • Quick learner with a great attitude   
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written communication  
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently   
  • Experience with one or more of the following: mechanical parts, gears, castings, plastic parts, injection molding, tooling, jigs, fixtures, or automotive high-volume quality manufacturing engineering  
  • Able to maintain high attention to detail even while working on repetitive tasks.  
  • Able to lift 70 lbs   
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time
Qualifications
  • Quick learner with a great attitude   
  • Strong in mechanical problem-solving and logical thinking skills  
  • Experience using calipers and digital microscopes  
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and using basic formulas   
  • Understanding of sum, max, min, average, standard deviation, etc.  
  • Ability to collect, collate, and present data and findings from tests.  

Preferred skills: 

  • Knowledge of current Cricut products: Explore, Maker, Easy Press and other products and tools  
  • Experience testing, analyzing, troubleshooting, or repairing issues with hardware, mechanical, electronic devices  
  • Experience in root cause analysis and fixing hardware issues   
  • Creo and/or Solidworks experience
  • Hands on experience with machining equipment (tap a hole, mill, and lathe)
  • Microcontroller programming: Arduino, C++, python
  • Skills in 3D printing and rapid prototyping
  • Knowledgeable in production control processes, data analysis six sigma tools such as GR&R, Cp/Cpk, SPC, DOE, correlation analysis, t-tests, confidence intervals, etc.  
  • Experience with Minitab or other statistical analysis software  
  • Experience in Mechanical design with CAD  
  • Knowledge of DC circuits
