Test Debug and RCA Engineer is responsible for testing, validating, troubleshooting, and certifying server, compute and networking racks during manufacturing and production. This role ensures that assembled racks meet quality, performance, reliability, and customer requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Support server and networking rack testing and system performance validation with strong domain knowledge
  • Diagnose and conduct root cause analysis to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues using diagnostic tools
  • Test high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics. Validate switch configurations and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot packet loss, latency, bandwidth, and routing issues.
  • Develop, implement and maintain test procedure, automation script, test process instructions (TPI) and production operator training.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams. Support engineering validation activities
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology Networking Engineering major related field
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VANs, Routing and Switching, DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes
  • Experience with scripting languages and databases such as MySQL, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience in data center infrastructure or rack integration
