Role: Hardware Engineer (Testing)
Location: Southfield, MI
Duration: 6+ Months
BGV will be done for the selected candidates.
Automotive experience with 5-10 Years of experience in hardware(HW) testing domain
Strong hardware debugging, understanding of HW and Tools
Strong Communication
Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities include all tasks related with validation test development and timing plans to meet program/project objectives.
Generate a detailed testing schedule and procedure and State of Requirements (SOR) to quote and develop a new tester as required.
Responsible to execute validation testing and maintain the test equipment and ensure that the equipment calibration is current.
Develop a new testing procedure to resolve a new failure and/or chronic issue for continuous Improvement.
Implement the test plan and develop, find and quote equipment for the internal and test lab.
Execute the buildup and implementation of test stands and associated hardware and software required for the validation.
Create test procedures and work instructions for lab technician to perform testing.
Record, analyze and document the test results in a formal document and prepare final test reports.
Create test setups and fixtures design to properly operate, monitor, and orient the product while under test.
Interact with external test facilities for the execution of validation testing if required.
Complete validation report with analyzing failures and identify countermeasures.
Maintain equipment calibration.
