Job Title โ€“ Incident Response Specialist

Period โ€“ 12 Months

Location : Toronto, ON



Shifts: This role follows a compressed work schedule of 4 days per week, with 10-hour shifts. This includes weekends and Statutory holidays unless vacation time is booked.. Shift assignments will be either Sundayโ€“Wednesday or Wednesdayโ€“Saturday, based on business needs and determined by the leadership team.

Shift hours: 10:30AM EST โ€“ 8:20PM EST


Job Description

We are looking for an Incident Response Specialist with hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and incident response. The successful candidate will investigate security incidents, perform threat analysis, support forensic investigations, and help improve security processes and procedures.


Required Skills

  • 3โ€“4 years of Security Operations / Incident Response experience.
  • Experience investigating cybersecurity incidents and threats.
  • Hands-on experience with EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) tools.
  • Experience in digital forensics and live response analysis.
  • Ability to develop activity timelines and incident reports.
  • Experience creating and maintaining operational documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant security certifications are preferred (CISSP, Security+, GCIH, GCFA, CISM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, incident response processes, and security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
