Join Asplundh Engineering Services and gain hands-on experience in utility distribution design. You'll receive structured training, real-world field exposure, and the support of a team invested in helping you build a long-term engineering career.
As an Engineering Technologist I, you will begin your engineering career by supporting electrical distribution design projects for major utility partners. You'll collect field data, prepare cost-effective designs, and learn to produce construction-ready job plans. With structured training and mentorship, you'll develop your technical skills and gradually move toward independent project work.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology OR minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow technical standards and processes
  • CAD experience (AutoCAD or MicroStation) a plus, not required
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
