Title: CAD Designer/ Mechanical Engineer  
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 12 Months
Pay; $32-$35/hr on W2
 
Job Description:
This job supports the engineering and manufacturing of the company's products and programs. Tasks involved within this job group include the fabrication and testing of electrical/electronic assemblies, developing engineering product definition with design software, drafting, detailing instructions and media for fabrication needs, creating tool designs, analyzing manufacturing data to recommend changes to tooling issues, repairing and maintaining facilities equipment, designing and documenting tests of components and materials, and developing and providing technical support and training to customers.
Position Responsibilities:
• Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Support Preliminary Design Review (PDRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) meetings.
• Close coordination with design, manufacturing, and fabrication teams.
• Manage drafting requirements and incorporate drawing changes to support business goals.
• Support the development, maintenance, or modification of systems, components, and installation designs to meet requirements and specifications.
• Review design requirements and modifications of Mechanical & Structural assemblies and installations.
• Review Configuration Management Requirements for Compliance prior to releasing Lab test drawings.
• Work amongst cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
• More than 1 year of experience with engineering and design software (i.e., CAD/3D packages (CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.)
• More than 2 years of experience working on conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design, including 2D drawings and 3D deliverables
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, a strong desire to work with technical and non-technical audiences, and be a self-starter.
• Experience in Test and Evaluation Engineering.
