Job description


What You Will Do:

  • Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard Company culture.
  • Participates in the RFP processes, completing a detailed review of plans, specifications, and entirety of bid package.
  • Provide close support to the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager.
  • Evaluate and continually suggest improvements to processes used by Project Delivery Teams to effectively meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop colleagues.
  • Interact with the customer to validate our understanding of expectations before, during, and after project completion.
  • Aid in providing close support and oversight for our subcontractors.
  • Leads field validation of telecom design, proactively identifying conflicts or gaps and collaborating with CM, PM, and customer for resolution thru the RFI process.
  • Manage project review process with particular emphasis on constructability, value engineering options and design discrepancies / clashes.
  • Owns the implementation and oversight of electronic tracking systems and custom dashboards to drive real-time visibility into task progress, crew productivity, and issue resolution.
  • Daily/weekly reporting, issue escalation, and coordination with project managers and general contractors.
  • Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks, and successes.
  • Coordination with Project Superintendent(s) to understand and assess installation methods, labor needs, and manpower forecasts.
  • Support QA/QC by ensuring adherence to the Quality Control plans and process.
  • Ensure that all downstream team members are meeting deadlines on assigned tasks.
  • Reviews contracts, work orders and purchase orders to fully understand contractual requirements and provisions, and to ensure scope of work is in alignment with associated estimate and respective contract documents.
  • Cultivate and maintain customer relationships.
  • Work with the field operations team to ensure proper materials and equipment are available.
  • Coordinates with customer for acceptance and signoff.
  • Demonstrates ownership of the change management process-actively identifies scope impacts, initiates timely communication with stakeholders, and drives resolution to maintain schedule and project alignment.
  • Partners closely with QA/QC teams. Regularly reviews and validates test results (OTDR, Power Meter, etc.)
  • Maintains up to date redlines throughout the build lifecycle
  • Leads the preparation of closeout documentation, ensuring timely, organized, and customer-ready submittals.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor's Degree Construction Management, Engineering or other related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the construction industry in a similar role. Experience with large, structured cabling projects and/or data center construction projects highly preferred.
    Preferred professional certifications:
  • OSHA-30 Hour certification (if not certified at time of hire, certifications must be obtained within first six (6) months of employment)
  • BICSI TECH

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will not have direct reports.
Work Location and Travel:
On project site daily with up to 15% travel
