The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for Computer Specialist (Programmer Analyst), GS-2210-12 at Maxwell Air Force Base at Montgomery, Alabama
Salary Range: $89,508- $116,362 based on experience

Qualifications/Requirements:
The primary purpose of this position: To serve as Information Technology (IT) Specialist with responsibility for designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex web applications that meets functional requirements.
U.S. Citizenships Required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate Secret security clearance.
Knowledge of complex systems software, relational Oracle, MySQL databases and data management concepts, principles and methods sufficient to evaluate effectiveness of systems and systems development life cycles, including systems documentation, design development, configuration management cost analysis, systems integration, and testing.
In-depth knowledge of IT applications software concepts, principles, methods and practices and design principles methods and approaches.
Knowledge of the basics of software programming languages such as Appian, .Net, PHP, Oracle PL/SQL, JAVA, C, C++, Perl and Python. Utilize built in and external capabilities to display data, including advanced data visualization with products such as Tableau, Qlikview, and Power BI.
Ability to analyze organizational application software requirements, develop supportable recommendations for enhancement, apply CASE tools, and design, write, code, debug, test and maintain applications.
Ability to analyze functional IT system requirements, translate findings into functional requirements, develop supportable recommendations for enhancement. Apply a wide range of methodologies, use and sharing of data via API and data visualization tools, design, configure, write, code, debug, test, and maintain applications.
Ability to prepare systems documentation to include functional descriptions, maintenance manuals, test and implementation plans, cost analysis, specification documents, feasibility studies, and user guidance.
