Job description

TITLE: Television Master Control Operator

FLSA: Part time โ€“ non-exempt


BASIC FUNCTION: The TV Master Control Operator is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of our on-air product, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and preparing programming for future playback.

This position will work 1-2 days a week, mostly weekends, including overnights; 12am-8am, day shift; 8am - 4pm, and/or evening shift; 4pm - 12am.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting automation playlists for up to seven television & two radio stations.
  • Maintain relationships with clients.
  • Switching live news and sports programming.
  • Maintaining transmitter logs.
  • Other duties as needed.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong computer knowledge.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable with good communication skills.
  • Strong work history.
  • Previous master control experience is a plus but not required.

*Shifts could include overnight, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Should be flexible.
