Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Packaging Engineering Co-Op located at our Princeton, NJ facility. This 6-month program starts January 2027, and runs through June2027, and includes exposure to leadership, professional development, networking events, and the chance to connect with students throughout a variety of functions.

This position will provide support to one of three functional areas:

  • Package Innovation: The co-op will focus on the early phases of packaging development, working with ideas, consumer insights, concepts, and rough designs.

  • Package Development: The co-op will work on package design that optimizes innovation functionality, costs and equipment integration requirements based on CHD's core technology platforms.

  • Package Technical Transfer: The co-op will utilize performance-based specifications & technology platform thinking to shorten & expedite the package commercialization process for new and revised packaging.

Through this position, the co-op will work in a project-based environment. Responsibilities include testing, documentation, and travel to plants, and suppliers. The co-op will have the opportunity to work in cross-functional teams, as well as independently to determine and implement solutions based upon analytical data assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of college coursework (rising Junior or rising Senior) pursuing a bachelor's degree in Packaging Science/Engineering, with packaging coursework completed.

  • Ability and interest in working a hybrid schedule in Princeton, NJ

  • Co-op will be trained in specification systems, CAD, testing, or prototyping equipment as required.

  • Aptitude and willingness to learn how to interface with different platforms, run reports, and engage with various company systems.

  • Experience in Microsoft 365 applications required

  • Experience managing multiple timelines and priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn and contribute to a growing company.

  • Candidates must have US Work Authorization (US Citizen, permanent resident, green card holder)
