Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Fire Alarm Department Administrator to our Beach Lake, PA team. In this role, you will provide administrative and coordination support to our fire alarm department, ensuring that scheduling, documentation, and customer communication run smoothly and efficiently. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the fire alarm department, including scheduling, data entry, and file management.
  • Coordinate fire alarm inspections, service calls, and installations with technicians, customers, and management.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain fire alarm-related documentation, including inspection reports, proposals, service tickets, and compliance records.
  • Communicate with customers to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate records within the department's database and tracking systems.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and processing of work orders for the fire alarm department.
  • Support the department in tracking deadlines, permits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support department operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or additional administrative coursework preferred.
  • Prior administrative, clerical, or customer service experience, preferably within the fire protection, construction, or life safety industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Primarily works in an office environment.

The wage for this role is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
