How will you make an impact?

The successful applicant for the Pricing Analyst position will provide support to the Encompass Third Party North American Pricing Team including - email triage and assignment, price file review/upload and various projects to acquire current pricing from suppliers to ensure accurate information for our customers. Perform work that is multifaceted and sophisticated and rely on previous experience and judgment to accomplish assigned tasks.
What will you do?
Maintain pricing inbox organization, assign owner, follow-up on emails, and other administrative tasks for pricing team
• Support customers, commercial team, purchasing team and other internal employees in facilitating pricing accuracy and updates
• Ensure coordination of price updates between regions, US and Canada
• Contact unresponsive suppliers via email, phone or website lookup for current pricing and update cost/list information in AS400
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute pricing requests and updates
Utilize pricing tools to conduct part maintenance
• Product Price, and Attribute maintenance
• Create/maintain customer specific pricing as required
• Macro creation and maintenance within Excel and Access
• Process data, generate, create/edit reports using Cognos
• Hit quantitative price file upload targets assigned by manager
Demonstrate leadership qualities and lead by example
• Maintain a positive attitude, use opportunities to educate/teach co-workers when appropriate
• Train new hires within the pricing group and support training outside of pricing, but still within the Encompass Third Party department
• Willingness to adjust to changes that may need to be made to current processes and providing process improvement ideas when applicable
• Performs other duties as assigned
How will you get here?
Education:

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent work experience preferred.
o 3+ years'experience in general business, pricing, or finance
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Ability to handle and resolve issues through phone or email
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet designated deadlines
• Attentiveness to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment
• Excellent organization ability, analytical capacity and attention to detail
• Strong customer service focus, including conflict management skills
• Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and effective listening
• Computer skills, including proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Mainframe, AS400, AMPS, Cognos, PowerBI, and Smartsheets a plus
• Lead through adverse, ambiguous and/or stressful situations with integrity
• Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Team player with a willingness to join forces to service needs of customer
