Job description

Position is IN OFFICE in Midland TX - NOT REMOTE.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
Transform survey information, initial sketches, and concept designs using Civil3D into construction plans, generally including:
Existing Conditions
Dimensioned Site Plan
Site Grading & Drainage Plans
Site Utility Plans
Roadway Plan and Profile Drawings
Detailed Street Intersection Designs
Utility Plan and Profile Drawings
Drainage and Hydraulic Structure Design and Details
- Work with engineer to modify plans from mark-ups and design revisions
- Coordinate design with Architects and other engineering consultants
- Revise plans according to client, manager, or agency reviewer comments and redlines
- Self-Review performed work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting to manager
- Work closely with project manager to determine if scope of work/budgets need to be revised
- Perform non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions under minimum supervision
- Assist in organizing, creating, and maintaining all CAD or CAD related files for clients
Requirements
An Associate Degree or equivalent Certificate for AutoCAD/Civil3D preferred; Bachelor's Degree welcomed. Minimum of one (1) year experience in Civil3D including creating surfaces, road profiles, grading, earthwork computation, pipe networks and profiles; land development industry experience strongly preferred.
