Hiring Opportunity: Cuyahoga Falls Ohio
Our client is looking to hire a Bench Technician/Tool and Die Technician for their Facility in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio! Our client is a leader in composite and metallic part manufacturing within multiple industries!
The Bench Technician would be responsible for performing accurate bench related tasks, such as fitting mold/tool components, hydraulic & water plumbing, installation on hot runner and limit switches.
Qualified candidates would be experience with Overhead crane operation, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and 2 years of bench experience.
Job Requirements:
- Uses various tools to lift, move, disassemble, and reassemble dies.
- Ability to hand assemble/fit/grind molds and parts to customer specs with little to no supervision.
- Provides components in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
- Perform all phases of assembly and disassembly of tools.
- Perform all phases of installing and plumbing water lines, hydraulic lines and systems.
- Demonstrate good bench-oriented shop practices: safety oriented, organization, cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Motivated to complete work with little supervision.
- Inform management of anticipated conflicts for future operations.
Job Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Overhead crane operation experience preferred
- Possess strong mechanical, some electrical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Adhere to current and future company standards for conducting work and safety inspections of equipment. Work safely and in a manner consistent internal safety policies and procedures.
- Competent/comfortable with use of information technology.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enjoy working in a team environment, possesses strong interpersonal skills enjoys learning and applying new technology.
- 2+ years" bench experience preferred.
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED preferred.
