Expected pay for this position is $27.26- $32.06/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Overview
A unique position that will primarily work in the Henry-Stark school district(s). Which includes traveling and treating between these districts during the school year. During the summer, school breaks, and when the caseload is lower, this position will be expected to treat adults and pediatric patients on the St. Luke Medical Center campus.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist, assists in administering the Physical Therapists' treatment plan. Administers and monitors patient's response to therapeutic exercises, transfer training, gait training, and other treatments in accordance with the physical therapists treatment plan.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
Licensure/Certifications:
  • State license as Physical Therapist Assistant
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Skills/knowledge:
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills to work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
  • Analytical ability to identify and report changes in patient's condition to a physical therapist.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Valid driver's license
