Job Location: OGDEN, UT
Machine Builder Job Summary
Seeking a dependable Machine Builder to assemble custom machinery and equipment using mechanical drawings and assembly prints. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble equipment and machinery per mechanical and assembly drawings
Communicate build progress, changes, and issues with the Machine Build Lead
Follow ISO quality and safety standards throughout the build process
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Prepare materials for secondary processes including deburring and finishing
Safely operate equipment such as mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, saws, and presses
Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision while meeting quality and timing expectations
Qualifications
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and climbing
Willingness to obtain Forklift, Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lockout/Tagout certifications
Must provide own hand tools and toolbox
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Vocational or technical training preferred
