  • Location: St. George, Utah
  • Position Type: Contract / Project-Based (6–7 Months)
  • Number of Openings: 6
  • Expected Start: Immediate

About the Role

Great news for skilled builders in Utah! PrideStaff has partnered with a premier medical manufacturing organization in St. George that is scaling up for an exciting new initiative. We have an immediate need for six (6) Electromechanical Assemblers to support a major 6–7 month project involving the build of more than 100 advanced machines.

Project Transparency: This is a dedicated, project-based contract role for a 6–7 month duration. Work is expected to last for the duration of the project. While there may be potential opportunities for permanent conversion down the road based on business needs, employment beyond the scope of this project cannot be guaranteed at this time.

Are you the type of person who enjoys building things, solving problems, and seeing a finished machine come to life because of your work? If so, we want to meet you. Our client designs and builds advanced automation equipment, custom machinery, and handling systems used in high-tech manufacturing environments around the world.

We are looking for skilled Assemblers II who take pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship. This is not repetitive assembly line work. You will build complex mechanical and electrical systems, work alongside engineers, troubleshoot issues, and play a key role in bringing custom equipment to life.

What You’ll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring schematics, and production orders.
  • Perform electrical wiring, soldering, pneumatic, and hydraulic assembly work.
  • Assemble subassemblies and complete final integration of equipment.
  • Inspect finished assemblies to ensure top-tier quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot assembly or operational issues and collaborate with Engineering when needed.
  • Help improve processes by recommending solutions and improvements.
  • Work independently while maintaining strong, collaborative communication with the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2–4 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.
  • Skills: Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills; proficient with hand tools, measuring tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical or electrical issues on the fly.
  • Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Traits: High attention to detail, quality-focused, and a strong work ethic.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical school or vocational training is a major plus.

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:

  • Precision soldering.
  • Pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
  • Custom machinery or automation equipment.
  • Mechanical integration and full-scale machine building.
