Our Defense division in Salt Lake City, UT is eagerly looking for an Assembler I to join their dynamic team. You will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reporting directly to our Operations Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment with a 9/80 1st shift schedule!
As an Assembler I, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for:
  • Read and understand electronic assembly/work instructions and accurately perform assembly tasks/procedures accordingly
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Use of basic hand tools, i.e. sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches etc.
  • Measure and inspect throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet the specified requirements
  • Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
  • Keep accurate records of production quantities and time
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Support other assembly teams/tasks/projects as needed

To be considered for the Assembler I role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • High school diploma, GED or formal training equivalency
  • Prior experience assembling complex electrical/mechanical components strongly preferred
  • Experience with mechanical parts/components/controls is preferred
  • Basic/Intermediate computer skills
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
