Our CAD team creates requests made by the Designers to show our new lines. Design will share flat sketches and CAD will draw the new styles and/or recolor existing styles in desired colorways and finalize the presentation as needed.

We are looking to hire an Assistant CAD Artist to support designers in managing the needs of the design team. This person’s primary responsibility is to help keep the internal database, (FileMaker), up to date with CAD images for all skus, in all categories. Our ideal candidate will have strong experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, who can oversee these essential responsibilities:

  • Locate CADS in the design server in accordance with style numbers, then upload and arrange them to FileMaker
  • Update CADs with appropriate information for catalog and showroom binders
  • Fulfill group CAD requests via FileMaker and email for jpeg images to supplement the sales team database (called OA)
  • Create and email presentation sheets to factories
  • Assist in recoloring and rendering cads in Photoshop
  • Occasionally assist CAD Artists in creating flat sketches
  • Create digital color palates

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Basic experience with photoshop and illustrator is required
  • Filemaker experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Positive, friendly & reassuring demeanor
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently; capable of executing tasks without constant supervision
  • Ability to maintain discretion & confidentiality
