Job description

Title: Graphics Specialist - Intermediate

Location(s): APG, MD, Huntsville, AL, and Ft. Belvoir, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide graphics support across print and multi-media/digital media platforms to assist in meeting the unique needs of CPE IEW&S.
  • Assist in creating graphics and visual elements for motion video, animations, digital media and print products, under the guidance of senior graphics staff
  • Support the development of graphics materials for events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Produce illustrations, drawings, and other artwork as directed to enhance communications materials.
  • Assist in providing photographs, charts, diagrams, maps, slides, and other visual assets for informational and briefing purposes.
  • Provide support in the preparation and presentation of awards, including tasks such as matting and framing.
  • Assist with photography tasks related to events, conferences, and meetings, coordinating with public affairs personnel as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate’s degree- Graphics design, computer information systems, Commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.
  • A minimum four years’ (4) experience in the field of graphics and design relevant experience required.
  • Substitution: Associates degree and minimum seven (7) experience in the field of graphics and design. Additional years’ experience can substitute for field of study.
  • Proficient in graphic design software, including Microsoft Office products, Adobe Cloud and/or equivalent software to support the development and production of various visual materials.
  • A secret security clearance is required.
