Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and refining fixture designs, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability. This role not only requires graphical design skills with digital tools but also requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced & dynamic work environment so that we may bring new concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom display fixtures and utilize software tools for visual representations (3D modeling, CAD, etc.)
  • Create detailed assets such as technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models for manufacturing (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs meet requirements.
  • Conduct material selection, stress analysis, and feasibility studies to optimize designs.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are cost-effective and production-friendly.
  • Perform quality control checks and assist in troubleshooting design-related issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to enhance product innovation.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Portfolio which accurately represents your level of work.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus: in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field &/or 2+ years of experience in fixture or product design, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling. (AutoCAD or similar, Parametric modeling a plus).
  • Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork
  • Comfortable &/or able to work in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic
  • Graphic design software (Blender, Illustrator or similar) is a plus.
