As a CAD Drafting Technician, your primary responsibilities include completing utility plan sets in AutoCAD for use in construction, generating land base prints in AutoCAD for use in the field, completing permit drawings for various permitting authorities, compiling job books upon project completion and import/export of various files types to and from AutoCAD. You will also be responsible for taking field notes, utilizing GPS and completing plan design for new and existing power and communication facilities.
