Hartmann Packaging is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Weekend Controls Engineer to support our manufacturing operations. This position is designed for professionals seeking a unique schedule that provides an excellent work-life balance while maintaining full-time compensation. The successful candidate will work a 12 hour, 2-2-3 rotation schedule.
This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working independently, solving complex automation and controls challenges, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As the primary Controls Engineer supporting weekend operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our automated systems.
As a Controls Engineer, you will analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and automation-related problems. You will also lead and complete engineering projects related to electrical controls, programming, and process improvements. This role requires the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision while collaborating effectively with operations, maintenance, and project teams.
