As CAD/BIM Technician you will be responsible for the development of designing models to developing preliminary drawings and final construction plans. You will be responsible for coordinating design details with an RFW Design Manager for individual projects for civil, architectural, and structural disciplines.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements

  • College degree or Vocational School degree/certification in an architectural/ engineering related field or Drafting/BIM program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Drafting/BIM Modeling working with Architects/Engineers at a professional firm.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience or willingness to learn how to use rendering software as required.
  • Working knowledge of general construction practices is preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work extra hours as required to meet project deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to project construction sites or for Owner project meetings as required.
  • Willingness to review construction submittals for compliance to construction documents and plans.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing demands.
  • Detailed oriented and desires to take pride in their work.
