JOB TITLE:    Instructional Aide
DUTY DAYS:  185
PAY GRADE: C02
STARTING SALARY: $ 121.32 / DAY  


 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

 

 Assist teachers in the instructional program.

   

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education/ Certification:

 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate
  • PAC Test (No Child Left Behind) / 48 College Hours
  • Bilingual Test (if applicable)
 

Special Knowledge / Skills:

 
  •  Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with many people

 

Experience:

 

  MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

 
  1. Provide guidance and direction to students for drill and practice sessions and reviews in a small group setting
  2. Assist with the preparation of instructional materials
  3. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
