What is comprehensible input?

Comprehensible input refers to language that a learner can understand, even if they don't know every word or structure. It's a key concept in language education, especially in methods that prioritize natural language acquisition. The idea is that by being exposed to language slightly above their current proficiency level, learners can gradually acquire new vocabulary and structures. Teachers use visuals, gestures, context, and simplified language to make content understandable. This approach helps learners build fluency in a natural, engaging way.
