Role Accountabilities:ย 

  • Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions
  • Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Gather and ensure completeness of all necessary information,
  • Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll
  • Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical products and ensure final checks are completed for accuracy prior to their release
  • Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to The Team:ย 

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (RPhT), Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP), Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
  • Retail/Community/ Long Term Care Pharmacy experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated computer or work processing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: RPhT Interns: $23-$25/hour. Fully Registered Technicians: $27 - $31/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidateโ€™s credentials and experience.
