  • The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • High School graduate or GED.
  • 2+ year’s previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
  • Completion of sterile compounding training/competency (as required by State BOP).
  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
