Job description

Description:

Job Summary

We're opening eyes, hearts and minds to the impact that a pharmacy team can have in changing lives.

Join our group of talented, committed team members-pharmacists, pharmacy care coordinators, technologists, product strategists and more-to create and expand the delivery of personalized health support that people didn't even know could be possible.

The Senior Business Architect (SBA) for Stellus Rx will be a key member of our Technology Team, driving innovative solutions and leading the optimization, automation, and maximum utilization of core systems for our business operations. The SBA will drive solution requirements definition, selection, and implementation — working closely with our Innovation team and collaborating with business partners, vendor partners, project management teams, and engineering teams.

This role is for a business architect who doesn't just evaluate and implement solutions — they actively embed AI into every stage of the architecture lifecycle, using it to accelerate analysis, challenge legacy processes, and identify where AI capabilities can create durable competitive advantages for Stellus Rx.

Role and Responsibilities:

AI-Driven Business Solution Design & Architecture

  • Assess, design, implement, automate, and document core business solutions and processes for public and private cloud environments, SaaS applications, and other cloud platforms — with a deliberate focus on where AI can replace manual processes, improve decision quality, and unlock new capabilities.
  • Work with diverse technical and business partners to define, research, select, implement, and optimize business solutions within the Stellus Rx Enterprise Architecture; use AI-assisted analysis to evaluate vendor options, model trade-offs, and accelerate solution selection.
  • Apply strong and demonstrable knowledge of data science, machine learning, and neuro-symbolic AI design to architect solutions that go beyond conventional approaches — building durable competitive advantages and industry moats for Stellus Rx.
  • Champion AI capabilities internally: advocate for and implement AI-driven solutions that meet business needs while actively disrupting legacy approaches and reshaping how the organization operates.

AI-Augmented Process Innovation & Optimization

  • Confidently learn how things are currently done — then challenge and reimagine them, using AI to identify inefficiencies, model alternative approaches, and quantify the business impact of proposed changes before committing to implementation.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate LEAN development cycles from ideation to monetization — replacing manual analysis with AI-assisted discovery, prioritization, and market timing assessment.
  • Identify and implement unused or new vendor/partner features that improve return on system investment; use AI to surface adoption opportunities and model monetization scenarios across the solution portfolio.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business measurement, intelligence, and reporting; use AI-powered analytics to continuously monitor solution performance and drive data-informed optimization decisions.

Requirements Definition & UML Documentation

  • Lead solution requirements definition using deep and demonstrated knowledge of UML standards for describing specifications in both static and dynamic perspectives — augmented by AI tools to accelerate diagram generation, gap analysis, and documentation quality review.
  • Coordinate with Stellus Rx Project/Program Managers to oversee implementation, integration, and customization of selected business solutions; use AI-assisted project tracking and risk analysis to improve delivery predictability.
  • Use AI to generate, validate, and maintain solution documentation — reducing manual documentation overhead while improving consistency and traceability across the architecture.

Vendor & Partner Collaboration

  • Work with key business leaders and vendor partners to lead customization and enhanced feature efforts; use AI to rapidly prototype and evaluate proposed enhancements before committing engineering resources.
  • Coordinate with information security, compliance, and internal/external partners to ensure Stellus Rx policies and procedures are incorporated into solutions — using AI-assisted compliance checking to reduce manual review cycles.
  • Establish and oversee organizational readiness and change management plans supporting solution implementations and new feature adoptions; use AI tools to personalize and scale change communications and training content.
Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Architect leading system definition and implementation.
  • 2–5 years of experience working with internal and external engineering teams to deliver configured or customized business solutions.
  • Required: Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate business architecture activities — solution analysis, process redesign, requirements generation, or vendor evaluation — with specific examples you can speak to.
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of applying data science, machine learning, and AI solutions to business architecture challenges; experience with neuro-symbolic AI designs preferred.
  • Proven ability to break down complex problems and implement automated, scalable business solutions beyond surface-level approaches.
  • Deep knowledge and application of UML standards for requirements and specifications in static and dynamic perspectives.
  • Both an advocate and implementer of LEAN development with strong ideation-to-monetization acumen.
  • Experience working across multiple industries using technology-led solutions to redefine business capabilities and drive market differentiation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business measurement, intelligence, and reporting within enterprise solution contexts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
  • High English proficiency, written and verbal.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience designing or implementing AI/ML-powered business solutions in production environments.
  • Experience with LLM integration patterns and AI-assisted workflow automation in an enterprise context.
  • Experience with Activity-Based Costing (ABC) modeling, enhanced by AI-driven scenario analysis.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Healthcare industry experience; familiarity with pharmacy operations, Medicare Advantage, or value-based care models a plus.
