Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers, assist with inquiries, answer phone calls, and handle customer transactions including processing sales and accepting payments.

  • Assist in collecting and processing prescription orders, ensuring prescription information is accurate and complete, and inputting data into the pharmacy computer system.

  • Assist in managing inventory by receiving, unpacking, labeling, monitoring stock levels, rotating stock, removing expired medications, and maintaining cleanliness of the pharmacy area.


Job description

We are looking for a dependable Team Player. The position involves:

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers and assist them with inquiries.
  • Answer phone calls and provide information or direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
  • Handle customer transactions, including processing sales and accepting payments.

Prescription Processing:

  • Assist in collecting and processing prescription orders.
  • Ensure that prescription information is accurate and complete.
  • Input prescription data into the pharmacy computer system.

Stock Management:

  • Assist in managing and organizing inventory.
  • Receive, unpack, and label incoming stock.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify pharmacists when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Rotate stock to maintain product freshness and remove expired medications.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

  • Keep the pharmacy area clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Dispose of expired or damaged medications according to regulations.
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment regularly

You will also undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.

As a team member you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers.
