Opportunities:

We are currently seeking either a part-time or full-time Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our laboratory team!

This individual will be working with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies within the clean room environment. In addition, shall assist the registered pharmacist in preparing all sterile compounded medications under direct supervision.

All work must be performed in accordance with USP 795/797/800 procedures and company policies.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform all Pharmacy Service Representative duties to ensure accurate and prompt customer service.
  • Collect patient information, process prescriptions, handle refill authorizations, perform data entry, and resolve insurance billing issues.
  • Maintain the clean room suite per 797/800 standards, prepare and compound sterile products, assist with inventory management, and ensure proper drug disposal.
  • Document IV admixtures and cleanroom suite sterile testing.
  • Maintain the compounding lab in compliance with company regulations.

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 2 years of compounding experience and the following credentials/skills:

  • Pharmacy Technician License (preferred)
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
  • Sterile compounding experience (required)
  • Laboratory experience (required)
  • Basic math skills (required)
  • Detail oriented individual with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. (required)
  • Excellent customer service skills (required)
  • Knowledge of Pharmetika (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is (required)
  • A degree in health science is highly desirable (complete or in progress is preferred).
