BJC-Saint Luke's is currently hiring a Retail Pharmacy Technician for our Saint Luke's EAST Hospital location. The position is full-time and eligible to participate in group benefits offered by BJC Health.

This customer facing position will give you a lot of variety in your work. You will have the opportunity to assist customers face-to-face and via phone. You will assist with data entry, orders, billing, packaging, compounding, labeling, cashiering, delivering, inventory management, and more.

Shift Details: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

The Work:

  • This position activities will include but not limited to computer order entry, billing issue resolution, packaging, compounding, labeling, cashiering, delivering, inventory management, accounting, record maintenance and or staff training.
  • Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist staff member performs all accountabilities allowable by state and federal regulations associated with preparation compounding dispensing charging and delivery of medications to a patient of the Outpatient Retail pharmacy.
  • All medications are checked for accuracy by a pharmacist per the rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy and Federal regulations prior to leaving the Outpatient Retail Pharmacy.

We are seeking a customer focused professional with a passion for healthcare. To be successful, you must enjoy repetitive work and be detailed oriented. This position will require you to work on your feet most of your shift and work autonomously. Prior Pharmacy Technician experience within a retail pharmacy is preferred, but not required.
