Job description

Job Summary
Formulate Rx Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role supports pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of compounded medications while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent patient service. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to multitask.


Full-time employment and benefits after 90 days.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation of compounded medications in accordance with pharmacy standards and protocols
  • Accurately process and enter prescriptions into the pharmacy management system
  • Assist with medication packaging, labeling, and inventory management
  • Maintain clean and organized compounding work areas following pharmacy safety and quality standards
  • Communicate professionally with patients and providers regarding prescriptions and order status
  • Assist with order processing, shipping coordination, and fulfillment tasks
  • Help manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving and stocking supplies
  • Support pharmacists with daily operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow written procedures and compounding protocols
  • Intermediate computer skills and comfort learning pharmacy software systems
