Job description


TDS is seeking Special Events staff that can be available for several events. Jobs include bathroom/trash attendants or composting team in several venues such as Dell Match Play, Formula 1, COTA events and ACL. Other locations include Georgetown and San Antonio. Must be willing to travel within Central Texas area.

Pay is $20/hour. College students majoring in sustainability are encouraged to apply!

JOB SUMMARY

The Green Events Worker is a seasonal, temporary position that works TDS Green Events on an as- needed basis. The Green Events Worker will provide support services directly related to their assigned event.


DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
  2. Loading/unloading the Green Events truck with the necessary equipment/materials
  3. Event set-up and breakdown
  4. Monitoring trash on the ground
  5. Maintaining x-frames
  6. Working with the compost process
  7. Maintaining cleanliness of facilities
  8. Responding to customer requests
  9. Working with company staff during events
  10. Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills and exhibit a professional demeanor;
  • Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours based on event schedules; and
  • Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal direct supervision.
