Location: Anaheim, CA 92807

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to oversee the management of electronic components inventory within our department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stockroom operations, particularly in environments supporting Department of Defense projects, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. This role requires a hands-on supervisor who leads by example and ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and profitability of the stockroom department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily stockroom operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing electronic components.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting and timely return of parts to inventory.
  • Oversee consigned kits and ensure proper tracking and documentation.
  • Maintain and improve department profitability by optimizing inventory levels and reducing waste.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of stockroom personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, generate reports, and support operational decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense requirements and standards related to electronic components handling.
  • Interpret and understand Bills of Materials (BOM) to support inventory and production needs.
  • Communicate effectively with subordinates and executive management, providing clear and concise reports and updates.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshoot problems, and de-escalate conflicts as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Stockroom Supervisor, preferably in electronic components inventory management.
  • Experience managing inventory and understanding its impact on department profitability.
  • Recent experience managing people and leading diverse teams.
  • Ability to lead by example with a strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM) and electronic components.
  • Experience working in stockrooms containing electronic components for Department of Defense projects.
  • Knowledge of cycle counting processes and returning parts to inventory.
  • Familiarity with consigned kits and their management.
  • Proficient with ERP systems for inventory and stockroom management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Ability to de-escalate situations and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of employees.
Education amp; Experience

Relevant experience in stockroom supervision and electronic components inventory management is required. Formal education in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus.
