Job description

? Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements); ? Removes rough spots from workpiece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper; ? Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces; ? Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead); ? Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures ensuing quality standards are met; ? Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards; ? CWB certification is preferred, with 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; ? Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel required; ? Experience with MIG welding highly preferred; ? Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses; ?
