Job description

Position Overview
This position will inspect Duluth Trading Co. products in an accurate and timely manner, while maintaining all tracking data for the quality control and vendor compliance processes.
Position Details
Work Environment:
At Duluth Trading Company, we value face-to-face interactions that foster our culture of learning, creativity, and teamwork. The role is based onsite at our Adairsville facility near Atlanta, GA.
What You'll Do:
  • Accurately and efficiently inspect product using a designated product specification form supplied by the QA Manager.
  • Measure product to ensure it meets product specification guidelines.
  • Inspect product features such as zippers, buttons, etc. for quality.
  • Accurately record measurement results on a Measurement Specification Check Form.
  • Accurately and efficiently prepare products as requested.
  • Complete Vendor Compliance Audits as needed.
  • Be cross trained in other areas of the warehouse.
  • Will be expected to work in other areas of the warehouse during downtime in the Quality Control department.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined.

Environmental Factors:
  • Standing or walking for up to eight hours a day.
  • Frequently lifting up to thirty pounds, occasionally lifting up to seventy pounds.
  • Frequently reaching, twisting, and bending in multiple directions.
  • Ability to perform work in tight quarter workstations.
  • Moderate warehouse noise level.
  • Push/pull a picking cart and/or pallet of up to five hundred pounds.
  • Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movement (i.e.: folding garments).
  • Work in temperatures ranging from 50 - 95 degrees.
  • The ability to walk long distances
  • The ability to climb flights of stairs throughout the day
  • The ability to either stand for long periods of time
  • The ability to remain in a stationary position, often sanding for prolonged periods of times
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work area to another
  • Adjusting or moving objects over 20 lbs. in all directions
