Job Description
The Compliance Trainer is responsible for coordinating and delivering training to newly hired property management staff to ensure compliance with company policies, affordable housing program requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This position provides hands-on instruction, monitors trainee progress, and serves as a resource throughout the onboarding process.
  • Review move-in, annual recertification, and interim recertification files for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and deliver compliance training for newly hired On-Site Managers.
  • Develop and maintain structured training schedules to ensure a consistent onboarding experience.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in affordable housing compliance programs, including LIHTC, HUD, HOME, RD, and other applicable housing regulations.
  • Train new employees on company policies, procedures, software systems, and file documentation requirements
  • The Compliance Specialist (CS) will conduct on-site compliance follow-up training for existing site staff
  • The Compliance Trainer will also attend MOR's for Section 8 properties and complete pre-MOR reviews.
  • The Compliance Trainer may also assist with State Tenant File Reviews and submissions.
