Summary:
The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Director of Compliance, will assume an individual contributor role responsible for executing key elements of DPC's ethics and compliance program.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the creation, deployment, and continuous improvement of certain areas of DPC's global ethics & compliance program including:
    • US export compliance (e.g., Export Administration Regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
    • Jurisdiction & Classification analysis
    • Export licensing requirements analysis
    • Export license applications (e.g., agreements, exceptions, exemptions, licenses)
  • Create and deploy training and job aids to support functional stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Assist with company risk assessments and provide project management leadership for mitigation plans.
  • Lead and/or assist with investigations of compliance matters.
  • Conduct self-assessments to gauge whether controls have been successfully implemented across company sites.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators.
  • Assist with process transition and training for newly acquired companies.
  • Support other elements of DPC's ethics & compliance program including:
    • Anti-bribery & anti-corruption (ABAC)
    • Anti-money laundering (AML)
    • Business ethics
    • Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations
    • Harmonized System (HS) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications
    • Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations
    • Third party due diligence

  • Minimum required qualifications:
    • University degree from an accredited four-year institution
    • 12+ years of experience in ethics and/or compliance (or related job function)
    • Significant experience with US Jurisdiction & Classification processes
    • Authorization to access Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (U-NNPI)
    • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.

    The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:
    • Direct or indirect experience supporting the responsibilities listed above
    • Experience as an Empowered Official under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
    • Experience working within a multinational manufacturing company
    • Desirable would be a fluency in either Mandarin OR Spanish language on to support Asian and South American operations.
    • Experience working with manufacturing facilities and/or customers in China, the United Kingdom, or the United States
    • Understanding of the regulatory environment in China, the United Kingdom, or the United States
