Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee contract and procurement compliance, manage vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Your expertise will support our strategic procurement initiatives, safeguard intellectual property, and maintain rigorous records management to uphold our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer contracts, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to identify and communicate project requirements.
  • Plan and organize new projects by creating and maintaining accurate ERP (ProShop) data, including parts, bills of material (BOMs), work orders, outside processing, and related project records.
  • Coordinate contract flow-down requirements across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure all departments have the information needed to execute their work.
  • Prepare, submit, and track customer deliverables, certification packages, and required documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review engineering documentation, solid models, test plans, material certifications, and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain internal drawing packages and manufacturing documentation from customer-provided information.
  • Support continuous improvement by assisting with the development and maintenance of procedures, work instructions, and training documentation.
  • Utilize ProShop ERP and project management tools to improve planning accuracy, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Demonstrate Cogitic's core values while following all company policies, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Management, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Experience working with ERP systems required; ProShop ERP experience preferred.
  • Experience with manufacturing documentation, contract review, and compliance processes preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
