Job description

Parking Compliance Agent

Richmond, Virginia  •  Parking Controls  •  Part-Time

Reports To: Parking Enforcement Supervisor

Pay: $19/hr base + monthly bonus — average pay after bonus runs $21–24/hr

Schedule: Flexible — mornings, afternoons, or evenings, weekdays and weekends. Pick shifts that fit your life.

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, reliable Parking Compliance Agent to keep our lots and streets running smoothly across Richmond. You'll be out in the field, using handheld tech to issue citations, spot problems before they escalate, and represent us well in every interaction. If you've got booting, towing, LPR, or facility security experience, that's a big plus — but we'll train the right person regardless.

What You'll Do

  • Patrol on-street and off-street lots to enforce posted parking regulations
  • Issue citations using handheld ticketing devices and document violations with photos
  • Handle parking questions and concerns professionally and fairly
  • Flag damaged signs, broken meters, or unsafe conditions to management
  • Work alongside a small, supportive enforcement team

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • Experience with booting, towing, LPR technology, or facility security preferred
  • Comfortable working independently outdoors, walking for extended periods in all weather
  • Clear communicator who can de-escalate a tense conversation
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Access to personal vehicle.
  • Reliable, punctual, and good at following procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Why Join Us

  • Uniform and full training provided — no experience required to start, though enforcement backgrounds are valued
  • Real growth path — additional hours and advancement opportunities available
  • Monthly bonus structure on top of hourly pay
