Job Title: Site Safety Manager (Electrical Infrastructure)
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Site Safety Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive Site Safety Plans for large-scale construction projects. This role is the primary driver of our "Safety First" culture, ensuring that every team member, subcontractor, and stakeholder operates in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will serve as a key advisor to Project Leadership, utilizing data-driven insights and field audits to maintain an incident-free environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Safety Strategy & Compliance: Develop and maintain Project Safety Roadmaps and Site Safety Plans. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards and industry-specific regulations (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI).
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate weekly Total Case Incident Reports (TCIR) for large-scale projects and deliver performance briefings to executive management.
• Incident Management: Lead all injury and incident investigations with support from production leadership; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Field Oversight: Monitor and audit subcontractor compliance against project safety requirements. Conduct regular site walk-throughs to identify and mitigate environmental and physical hazards.
• Training & Mentorship: Co-facilitate safety training and testing for employees. Lead weekly toolbox talks and assist field personnel in developing project-specific safety solutions.
• Culture Advocacy: Build productive internal and external relationships to influence behaviors and sustain a proactive safety mindset across the jobsite.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of electrical industry consensus standards (NFPA 70E, NESC).
• Certifications: * OSHA 30 Construction (Required).
• BCSP Certification (CHST, OHST, or CSP) is highly preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certified (Trainer status preferred).
• Communication: Strong ability to influence field behaviors and communicate complex safety data to diverse audiences.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varied outdoor construction environments, including work at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
