This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.
HR SPECIALIST (LEVEL 2) - WEEKEND ROLE
ABOUT BLUE ORIGIN

POSITION OVERVIEW
As part of a high-performing Human Resources (HR) team, you will support the entire Blue Origin organization by managing employee inquiries, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely resolution of HR-related matters. This role plays a vital part in maintaining operational excellence across our HR functions.
SCHEDULE
  • Working Days: Wednesday through Sunday
  • Days Off: Monday and Tuesday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Triage and respond to general inquiries from across the organization utilizing our case management system
  • Direct cases to appropriate stakeholders and ensure proper follow-up
  • Provide responsive customer support to both employees and HR team members
  • Investigate and resolve complex HR inquiries
  • Process time clock discrepancies and attendance-related matters
  • Support employee onboarding processes and activities
  • Deliver on-site assistance to employees as needed
  • Perform additional HR administrative duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or customer support roles
  • Demonstrated experience supporting general HR inquiries
  • Previous case management experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service orientation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Experience using Workday HRIS
  • Knowledge of Time & Attendance functions in Workday
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
