Job description

Our client is hiring a Claims Director to lead a team of claims professionals handling complex, high-exposure casualty claims, including General Liability, Commercial Auto, Construction Injury, and environmental liability matters.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 15 claims professionals.
  • Oversee strategy and resolution of complex, litigated casualty claims.
  • Provide guidance on liability evaluation, risk assessment, reserving, and settlement strategies.
  • Direct litigation management efforts and collaborate closely with defense counsel.
  • Drive team performance, consistency, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with senior leadership on significant exposures and business initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience managing complex casualty claims within the insurance industry.
  • Strong expertise in litigation management, liability analysis, and claims strategy.
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing high-performing claims teams.
  • Excellent judgment, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
