Hilton Mystic is seeking an experienced and dynamic Complex Director of Human Resources to lead and oversee all HR functions across two properties in our Mystic, CT location. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance, and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex HR operations and developing initiatives that align with business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Facilitating a culture of service and four diamond standards.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Lead performance management processes and ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Advise and coach management on organizational policies and best HR practices.
  • Manage complex HR projects and initiatives across multiple departments.
  • Partner with leadership to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Director or similar role in a complex organizational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
